Perfect! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. 1.They would show guests the room and all the facilities before asking them whether wish to stay; 2.Basically you can ask frontdesk any questions that you may ask Tourist Information. And their answers might be even more helpful than Tourinform’s because they really cater to individual’s needs! (I was interested in joining city tours, and they found some really interesting ghost-themed tours for me) Early breakfast can be arranged with frontdesk. You can also cook in the kitchen. Also dining room is a place where interesting travellers meet and talk. There is a TV room in the basement, a good place to stay away from heat in a summer evening. All rooms are very clean. Bedrooms are air-conditioned. About location – it’s not in the town centre, but is pretty accessible by tram or on foot (20 mins from train station). Overall it’s a even a better hostel than words can tell!

Great place, great staff. They were helpful. Air conditioning in the rooms was a huge plus for me. Layout definitely intrigued me, very different from other places I’ve been. Free breakfast was great, and a whole big area to make just about anything in the kitchen. I’d come back.

This is the best place to stay in Zagreb. I am very happy and impressed with the polite behaviour of the staffs and the neat and clean atmosphere. Kitchen is very good with all the types of cooking materials for free and free excellent breakfast with bread, milk, sugar, fruit juice, jam, cereal etc. is served.

Stayed there with my friends for couple of days. The hostel was in a great location with plenty of activities and stuff to do. Close enough to the center of Zagreb. As it’s newly opened, the place is clean and well decorated. Kitchen and lounge area were great. Overall I would definitely recommend the hostel.

I stayed at the Fancy Hostel for 6 days and I would comeback! 🙂 The people who worked at the hostel were always happy to help and made an ace coffee too! The venue is clean, well maintained and very practical. Situated near the city centre and close to local amenities too. If your travelling to Zagreb please try this hostel 🙂
